MY HOUSE
"There are many different colours of my shack, like red white and blue, red black and green, and green you know what a mean."
Psychedelic Shack, Trybe
Excerpt from a great track released on Wild Pitch Records back in 88, produced by Chuck Artamatik and mix and edit made by Frankie Knuckles. Sadly I could not fit this into the mix, which was my intention, it would have done perfectly, both conceptually and by the mode it generates. But there is more things, new and old, different styles of electronic dance music – have a look!
1. Deadman - Shackleton
2. The Sticks - Friedman and Liebezeit
3. L.O.V.E. - Dj Kicks
4. Aqua-note - Forme
5. Beat down - Sydenham and Chandler
6. Can't get enough - Liz Torres
7. It's that east street beat - Chocolate
8. Love honey, love heartache - Man Friday
9. Thunder in your love - Lemuria
10. Love reaction - React
11. I want to be real - John Rocca
12. Feet - Sandals
13. The sun can't compare - Mr. White
14. Death is not final - Shackleton

Not Fear
The world of Skweee is slowly expanding. A music style with a name that origin from the English words “squeeze out”, which also says a lot about the sound stage, a sort of squeezed out thing with references funk and early synthmusic - lo-fi with a lot of soul.
We have the honour of having artist Not Fear sharing music from his catalogue which contains stacked rhythms and whining synthesizers. Things that relates to the world of Skweee, beautiful things.
To get more goodies step into his soundcloud, here.
And for further information, Nation of Skweee.

Guinea pig music?
No music this time but a great picture. It is the second singel from the british pop-psych group the World of Oz. They only made one album which was released in 1969. The best track on the album (or maybe the only good?)is Like a Tear, which was also released on the flip of their last singel and can be heard on the PSYCH! mix below. I think this picture speak for itself but it makes you wonder, is it a guinea pig on top of his head or what is it?

Matti Bye
The music of Matti Bye gives me a certain mood, some could say dreamy, what that means I don't know. But there is a strong tension, a mystical music room with certain physical laws.
My first encounter with that room was through the Swedish silent film The Phantom Carriage by Victor Sjöström, based on the book written by Selma Lagerlöf, filmed in 1921.
This song is taken from his release Elephant and Castle (2011) and recorded together with Martina Hoogland Ivanow and Mattias Olsson.
If you like what you hear I strongly recommend to look into the music catalogue of Matti Bye.
